I also liked how elements of danger are woven throughout the book. The events leading up to and including the Olympics take up a good portion of the book, and the many suspenseful moments are compelling. I’m an Olympics fanatic, and I found the chapters involving Sulli competing in the Olympics to be utter page turners. It’s the Olympics storyline that made the book for me and earned it an extra star. I feel like I’m talking myself out of giving this four stars. My other issue is that the main storyline-which I won’t spoil-is massively unnecessary. I liked both men, their friendship, as well as their devotion, but their personalities are fairly interchangeable. There’s not enough distinction between Banks and Okara. I couldn’t figure out what’s so special about Sulli that two men can’t live without her, nor why she can’t live without both of them. I admired her determination, but she is petty, unforgiving, and really immature.

Sulli is probably my least favorite character in the Like Us series at this point. Anyway, I think I liked Infamous Like Us the best of the three books.īad things first. It’s just way too long for a story I wasn’t fully invested in.
